Three players, Jimmy Stevens, Joe Quinn and Will Welch, have been called up to join the England Under-18 development tour of Argentina this month.
Stevens of Leicester Tigers, Quinn of Leeds Carnegie and St Wilfred's School and Welch of Newcastle Falcons and RGS Newcastle replace Joe Trayfoot, Tom Casson and Rob Milligan who are now no longer available for the tour.
Forwards Stevens and Welch were regulars for the England Under-18 AER squad this season who finished third in the Association Europeenne de Rugby Championship. Lock Quinn was a member of the England Under-18 side that completed a Grand Slam of victories in the Six Nations Festival in Cork.
Stevens, Quinn and Welch now join a squad of 32 who will play four games against Tucuaman Under-18 on July 19, Buenos Aires Under-18 on July 23, Mendoza Under-18 on July 27 and an international Test match against Argentina on August 3.
The squad will be led by England Under-18 Coach John Fletcher, who joined the RFU National Academy on July 1st from Guinness Premiership side Newcastle Falcons.
