London Wasps home ground in High Wycombe will revert to the name Adams Park as from June 1st 2006.
With the naming rights of Causeway Technologies set to expire on May 31st and not being renewed, the ground will revert to its original name of Adams Park as from June 1st.
Wasps moved to the stadium at the start of the 2002-03 season after agreeing a ground share with owners Wycombe Wanderers FC. The stadium had been known as Adams Park from its opening in 1990 until the start of the 2003-4 season, when it became the Causeway Stadium.
Wycombe named the stadium after former Wanderers player Frank Adams who, in 1947, gifted the club it's former stadium, Loakes Park. Adams had captained Wycombe from 1913 until 1928.
Frank Adams died shortly after his 90th birthday in 1981 but one of his sons, Jack, was heavily involved with the ground relocation negotiations leading to Wycombe's move to Adams Park in August 1990 - the ground being named after Wycombe's main benefactor.
