France continued their World Cup preparations with a 56-8 triumph over Romania in Lens.
Bernard Laporte's side now face England twice over the next two weekends to complete their preparations for the game's showpiece event.
France set their stall out early opting to kick for a lineout when awarded a penalty in the opening minutes.
When Damien Traille crashed through for the opening try from the ensuing lineout the signs were not good for the visitors.
Winger Aurelien Rougerie collected a Frederic Michalak cross kick to do down for the second before No.8 Imanol Harinordoquy grabbed the third.
Flanker Serge Betsen claimed the game's best score on the half hour as France chose to spin the ball inside their own 22 before streaming downfield.
Winger Gabriel Brezoianu went over in the corner for Romania just before the interval to briefly stop the onslaught.
Les bleus went in at half-time 35-5 to the good and it was not until 20 minutes after the break that they extended their lead through centre Yannick Jauzion.
Debutant South African-born centre Brian Lienbenberg then grabbed a five pointer and Olivier Magne completed the try scoring in the final minute.
Coach Bernard Laporte said the team were now looking forward to defending their unbeaten record in Marseille when they meet England on Saturday week.
"We are very excited at the thought of playing England, the ogres of international rugby, over two legs," he said. "They have not lost for a year and a half. They have defeated everybody, you have to respect that."
