Bristol have signed Scotland international forward Ross Beattie from Newcastle Falcons.
The 23-year-old number eight hopes to resurrect his international career with Premiership Bristol and feels the move south will give him a fresh start after injuries blighted his career in recent seasons.
Beattie said: ``Following two difficult seasons, which have been seriously hampered by injury, I felt it was in my best interests to have a fresh start to my rugby career.''
