Worcester Warriors have followed in the footsteps of Aviva Premiership rivals Saracens and written their own club song.
The video which accompanies the tune tells the story of a young fan who wakes up to find Maximus, the club's mascot, outside his window and the duo walk through Worcester town centre, where they are joined by a host of fans. The new anthem will be premiered before their match against London Irish this weekend and the composer, Andrew Kristy, is hopeful the crowd will take to it.
"The stars have really aligned themselves for this project! Given the compact time-scale, everything has fallen into place remarkably well," Kristy said. "Personally I am very pleased with the finished track - its power comes from everyone involved putting in their own passion and inspiration. My sincere thanks goes to all who have joined me on this journey to create Worcester Warriors' new anthem. "Now it's time for the fans to dust off their voices and raise the roof. Over to you - sing and enjoy!"
