Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Derrick Harmon, who was carted off the field Thursday night with a foot injury, is expected to miss a few weeks, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Steelers are considering placing Harmon on injured reserve, according to the source, but do not consider the second-year star to have a long-term injury.
Pittsburgh also could be without Jamel Dean for a couple of weeks as the cornerback works his way back from an ankle injury.
Harmon suffered the injury during the first half of Pittsburgh's 27-24 loss Thursday night to the Cleveland Browns. He was seen wearing a walking boot after the game and was slated to undergo an MRI on Friday.
The 23-year-old Harmon was Pittsburgh's first-round draft selection last year and recorded 27 tackles and three sacks last season as a rookie. He had the game-winning strip sack of Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow in Pittsburgh's Week 3 victory over Cincinnati.
