Sauber's season looks very different thanks to Felipe Nasr's heroics on home tarmac in Brazil, claiming the ninth-place finish which propelled the team to tenth in the constructors' championship above Manor. The valuable financial reward that result earned Sauber could be invaluable and will be a welcome boost for the team's new backers, Longbow Finance. Longbow's acquisition followed a tough start to 2016 for Sauber but has since seen the team make numerous appointments -- including new technical chief Jorg Zander.
The team will hope those technical acquisitions pay dividends next year as it attempts to move back up the pecking order despite running a year-old Ferrari engine.
