Manor sporting director Graeme Lowdon and team principal John Booth have reportedly tendered their resignations from the team.
A report in the Telegraph says the pair have become increasingly distant from Manor's millionaire boss Stephen Fitzpatrick, who helped revive the team from administration along with Lowden and Booth earlier this year. The pair are believed to be frustrated that initial interest from investors to buy into the team has not been actioned upon, which both think would be crucial in turning the team into a genuine midfield contender with Mercedes power arriving in 2016.
Booth founded Manor Motorsport in 1990 and has enjoyed huge success in single-seater racing. It primarily competed in Formula Renault, winning titles with drivers including future F1 world champions Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton. Manor Motorsport entered Formula One in 2010, first as Virgin, which became Marussia in 2012. Marussia went into administration last year but completed a remarkable turnaround ahead of the Australian Grand Prix to come back as Manor this season.
The report in the Telegraph says the pair will leave the team at the end of the season while Manor has declined to comment on the news.
