Again, we're skipping off to the second game of the day so head over to live coverage of India v England from Colombo, dead game this, but always something on the line between those two countries. But from George and myself, goodbye for now...
New Zealand are guaranteed a place in the next round by getting as close as they did. Ross Taylor threatened something miraculous but it is safe to say that given a few more balls he could have won that match, why did he bat so low? But in the end, Pakistan had too many on the board after Nasir Jamshed and Mohammad Hafeez played very well, Hafeez playing his part with the ball too.
Pakistan made it closer than that seemed it would be in the middle overs but eventually close out the 13 run win and just need to avoid a big defeat against Bangladesh to go through.
NL McCullum c Shoaib Malik b Saeed Ajmal 5 (13m 4b 1x4 0x6) SR: 125
So only three maximum's will do now, can McCullum provide them...
TG Southee c Umar Gul b Saeed Ajmal 1 (6m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 33.33
So 19 to win...Ajmal to bowl it...
The World Twenty20 is getting visitors from far and wide
He may be just 22, but Nasir Jamshed has the blend of assurance and aggression to flourish in all formats
Mishaps in the field and a strangely altered batting order produced a frustrating afternoon for the Kiwis
