Man of the Match: Morne Morkel
On behalf of my co-commentators - Anand Vasu and Kanishkaa Balachandran, this is Sriram Veera signing off. Ta!
Coming up tommorow: 13th Match, Group E: India v New Zealand at Johannesburg (10:00 local, 08:00 GMT)
14th Match, Group F: Australia v Bangladesh at Cape Town (14:00 local, 12:00 GMT)
15th Match, Group E: South Africa v England at Cape Town (18:00 local, 16:00 GMT)
Robin Abrahams adds: The teams for Group E and F were already defined in the regulations before the tournament started.
The ICC Twenty20 World Championship 2007 will be contested by 12 teams which have been 'seeded' and divided into four groups:
A South Africa West Indies Bangladesh
B Australia England Zimbabwe
C New Zealand Sri Lanka Kenya
D Pakistan India Scotland
The Super Eight series will consist of eight teams divided into two groups of four based on their seedings in the Group stage as follows:
Group E South Africa England New Zealand India
Group F Bangladesh Australia Sri Lanka Pakistan
Team names for the Super Eight stage are indicative based on the top two teams from the Group Stage qualifying.
If these teams do qualify they will be seeded in position 1 and 2 as specified regardless of whether they finish first or second in their group.
For example, if West Indies (A2) win Group A and South Africa come second, for the purposes of the Super Eights, South Africa will still be A1 and West Indies will be A2. If, for example, Bangladesh qualifies instead of South Africa, Bangladesh will become A1.
