Presentation:
Sammy: "We have been rising to the challenge, looking to control what we can. Good thing we bowled first. Credit to Warner and Dhawan. After a few games you tend to look for ways to improve, and Warner has always been better up the order. We can just hope things go in our favour."
Warner is the Man of the Match: "(Didn't score a century) Importantly we won and credit to Shikhar for back to back fifties. I love batting at the top of the order and I also enjoyed batting in the middle order. I obviously like to hit as many over the boundary."
Dhoni: "We have to address it (defeats). We have lost a few games very easily. The easier thing would be to chase in each and every game. I went in and ate up quite a few deliveries but 185 was a decent score but under par. I think we needed 230, our new ball bowlers are not getting wickets with the new ball."
That's it from us here tonight. Two more games tomorrow, as the race for the last two playoff spots gets more competitive. Thanks for your company. Good night!
End of match: Quite a clinical chase in the end by SRH despite the chase going into the final over. They hardly broke into a sweat. A few needless wickets but importantly, Dhawan was there from the start. SRH must be wondering why they didn't hit this form earlier in the tournament. They live to fight another day.
CSK were flat on the field.
So Dhoni reckons they needed to score 230. That's the level of confidence he has in his bowlers. That's a worrying sign ahead of the playoffs.
SRH take another chase to the final over. The scorecard at the stadium has 184 and the TV showed 183. Confusion here. It has been corrected to 184 so two to win
