KKR have won comprehensively. 180 proved too much for Sunrisers, they needed a start quicker than they got and there wasn't much firepower in their batting line-up after the loss of White. KKR pick up their second win, Sunrisers their second defeat this IPL. The latter half of this chase, or the bulk of the latter half, was quite boring, one would admit, as Sunrisers never looked like turning it around. We'll get you the presentation details in a bit. Here's the report by Sidharth Monga. We'll give you the presentations details in a bit.
Sangakkara: "We brought it back pretty well after the first six overs, but lost a bit of momentum. We were outplayed by a better side. If we had limited them to about 160, we were never really in the chase from the start. We thought in the Powerplay, having White on the top would help him get a big one for us. We've got good hitting power in White, Reddy and Perera. The rest of us have to rotate the strike."
Gambhir is also the Man of the Match, hmm: "It was a good wicket to bat on, the way Morgan and Jacques batted it was fantastic. We were thinking of 160 at one stage, but to get 180 is great. Morgan has been an incredible batsman, we wanted to give him more time. We wanted someone to complement Sunil, the way Senanayake and Sunil bowled, it's great for us. We got the right pick to bowl in tandem with Sunil. When you're in good nick, you've got to take the team along."
That's it. Surprised it wasn't Kallis who won it. Anyway, thanks for tuning in. There's another game that'll begin shortly. Rajasthan Royals take on Kings XI Punjab, and the Royals have chosen to field. Until the next time, it's goodbye.
Amit Patel: "@David, I agree that Sanga should make a way for another quality batsman but White has been playing beutifully the whole tournament. And to say that SRH bowling unit is doing well is just a very bad opinion. KKR scored 180 in this match and RCB score 160+ in the 9th game of the IPL in which Kohli scored 93 off just 47. There's no quality bowler aside from Steyn. And there is so much one bowler can do."

David Damara: "Last couple of years, the Hyderabad team lacked bowlers and this season when the bowling unit is doing well, the batting unit has totally collapsed. When will we ever get to see a balanced team like the others? Time for the management to seriously introspect for the next matches. Sanga and White should pave way for others...."
