11:59pm That will be all from us. Another amazing and record-breaking night in the IPL. We will be back with more tomorrow, but until then, from all of us here at ESPNcricinfo, it is goodbye!

Heinrich Klaasen, Player of the Match: (On if counter-attacking was the plan after the quick wickets) No, not really. Big gap at cow corner so had to take a risk early. Wicket was good. They had a quality bowling attack, so had to take a chance and see if we could make light work of it. (On the inside-out shot) The left shoulder gave me some issues, so I am not as strong over cow corner. Slinger is feeding me a lot of balls, so it is going nicely. (On if he is feeling invincible) Not at all. Humble. New day tomorrow. It is always fun, you can feel them (Abhishek and Head) putting the bowlers under pressure. If they are going (at a brisk rate), it makes your job easier. (On Arora) I told him that he does not have to worry. He asked me if he could hit it (when 11 were needed off 12) and I said yes - finish the game. Incredible to see him do it on the big stage, and we see it every day in the nets. Happy to see how his career is going.

Pat Cummins, SRH captain: Tough to start with, but knowing our line-up and the pitch, few things had to go right but thought it was chaseable. (On the openers) When the pitch is good, they have so many different shots. Glad I am not bowling to them. (On the youngsters) They are super aggressive. They have a fearless attitude. Now, even 12 an over, you can chase as a batting unit, so you have to reset your expectations as a bowling unit. (On if he has any sympathy for the bowlers) A lot. How long do we have? (smiles) Really good bowlers, Eshan in our team, have a huge impact. Everything is going well at the moment, so keep hanging in there.

Hardik Pandya, MI captain: (On how challenging it was) I don't think dew played much of a role, just that they played some good shots, we bowled bad balls. I enjoyed and had fun on the ground today. 244 - I will back my bowlers to stop it. But we could not execute. Enjoyed bowling barring the last three balls but enjoyed myself. Been that kind of a season. You get chances, you grab them. If you don't, it hurts you. This season, we don't have much options. I won't put my bowlers under the bus. As an overall unit, we have not been able to do what MI stands for. We have passionate owners and support staff, hopefully we will figure out something. (On the crowd support) We have not given them much opportunity to back us - but they have been fantastic and loyal. Sometimes it hurts when the opposition comes and they start chanting their name. But we probably need to give them more (to cheer and shout about).

Abhishek Sharma: (Feeling as Orange Cap holder) If you see the total every team is scoring, you have to step up and do it for your team. I always try to get something out of Head, but he is quiet (and does his talking with the bat). Philosophy we have been using is to just see the ball and hit it. we always just congratulate each other on fifties and hundreds, and nothing else. We watch the ball and react. (On Malinga and Cummins) Big credit to the bowlers - the way they have stepped up. That is the reason we are winning games. It is a tough job. We are asking a lot of them but the way Malinga, Pat and others are keeping it simple
the way Pat is talking to the bowlers, it is effective.

11:35pm Wow. An exhilarating run-chase, punctuated by an emphatic exclamation mark at the end. Salil and Klaasen with the finishing act, but this was a coherent chasing effort throughout. Abhishek and Head set the stage with another whirlwind powerplay. There was a brief passage, especially once Abhishek and Head were dismissed, where MI would have felt they could apply the squeeze. But they ran into Klaasen, who began his innings with some risk-free strokes before clicking into over-drive and zinging past the five-time champions.

Lots to ponder for MI. They bowled on both sides of the wicket, and kept dishing out boundary balls. Their decision to bring in Shardul as their Impact Player and then not use him at all was also baffling, as was their ploy to not begin their innings with Jacks, despite the obvious off-spin match-up against Abhishek and Head. Their season now hangs in the balance, and they will need to find a way to get it back on track soon.

Pandya to Arora, SIX, a disdainful short-arm-jab, and SRH canter past MI to register the highest-ever run-chase in the IPL at this venue! Five on the trot for SRH, and MI have, once again, been blitzed out of the water at home! Back of a length and this sits up just outside off. Salil gets those fast hands through the ball and pummels it flat over deep mid wicket. Plenty of hugs and handshakes and smiles in the SRH camp. They were staring down at a mountain of runs, but have still managed to scale it with room to spare!

Pandya to Arora, no run, back of a length outside off and this seems to skid through. Salil keeps swiping at it but for a change, fails to make contact

Pandya to Arora, SIX, another no-look six, and Salil is ripping MI to shreds at the death! Juicy full toss, agreed, but Salil's shot is another body blow to MI. Free swing through the line and he whacks it over wide long on!

Pandya to Arora, FOUR, chancy, but SRH will take that. Of course they will! Half-way down outside off. Salil swings himself off his feet and musters a top edge that hurtles over short fine leg!

Mustafa Moudi : "Isnt this game stretched a bit longer ?? Yesterday's Game was over by 11 PM, if I am not wrong !!" -- It is what it is. 11 off 12. Hardik to bowl. Still no Shardul

Boult to Nitish Kumar Reddy, OUT, straight up the chimney, and Boult has a wicket, finally! Back of a length just outside off. Nitish looks to dump this over cow corner but the ball gets big on him. Clinks it a mile up off the top edge and SKY, circling under it at deep square leg, snaffles up the chance. Is there a twist in this game still?
