Shahid: "As a Sri Lankan i am very happy with the way the team is playing and with the team selection! A few less dropped catches would be better though!"
A job well done by Sri Lanka today. Two wins on the trot has put them in second slot, and ahead of India with a game in hand.
Sehwag: "We didn't bowl well in the final ten overs, and we didn't bat well, the way Sachin and Gambhir played in the beginning, I thought we could get a good start but we lost three wickets early. We didn't bat well and we didn't bowl we. We missed Dhoni in this game, if we play to our potential it will be easier for us."
Nuwan Kulasekara is the Man of the Match: "My strength is to swing the ball, I'm very happy at getting Sachin's wicket, our bowling attack is very good, seamers and spinners are doing a great job. Malinga is the No. 1 bowler in the world now, I'm very lucky to be bowling with him."
Mahela Jayawardene: "We are getting better and better, we played smart cricket, we kept wickets in hand and put up a good score, we are still making some mistakes, hope we don't make them in the bigger games. Our bowlers were absolutely brilliant upfront. With the two new balls, the ball is doing more in these conditions, not giving easy singles in very important and we can keep the field up."
Our preview headline was "Plenty to ponder for unsettled India" and that remains the case for them ahead of the next game. They still don't know what their best bowling combination looks like, and the batting also has question marks over it.
Sri Lanka have a lot more confidence going into their next game, against Australia in Hobart on Friday. Mahela's elevation to the top of the order is working well, their quicks have found their rhythm, and the only blip was the three catches they put down.
Abhishek Purohit has the match report here. And here's Sidharth Monga's take on the Thirimanne Mankaded incident.
