Paris FC v PSG
Ousmane Dembélé taken off with early injury as PSG fall late to local rivals Paris FC
France star Ousmane Dembélé limped off injured less than two weeks before the Champions League final as Paris Saint-Germain suffered a last-gasp 2-1 loss to neighbours Paris FC.
In a major scare for club and country, 2025 Ballon d'Or winner Dembele was replaced in the 27th minute of PSG's final Ligue 1 fixture of the campaign.
The reigning French and European champions will face Arsenal in the Champions League final on Saturday, May 30 in Budapest.
Dembélé, who is also a key part of France's plans for this summer's World Cup, headed straight down the tunnel following his premature withdrawal, albeit initial reports suggest the substitution was only precautionary.
Bradley Barcola gave Luis Enrique's side a 50th-minute lead at Stade Jean-Bouin before Alimami Gory's double, including a winner deep into added time, snatched a shock derby victory for the hosts.
With only metres separating the grounds of the two clubs, PSG made the shortest away trip in Europe on the back of securing a fifth successive Ligue 1 title by beating second-placed Lens 2-0 in midweek.
Head coach Luis Enrique made five changes to his starting XI but was quickly forced into another alteration -- and given cause for concern -- when Gonçalo Ramos came on for the stricken Dembélé.
In a first half of relatively few chances, PSG midfielder Vitinha curled off target from a free-kick before Jonathan Ikoné flashed over at the other end.
Barcola - the visitors' leading scorer in Ligue 1 - broke the deadlock five minutes into the second period with his 11th league goal of the season.
Substitute Fabián Ruiz provided the assist, allowing Barcola to finish into the bottom-right corner.
PSG dominated possession but were pegged back in the 76th minute when substitute Gory deflected the ball beyond visiting goalkeeper Matvei Safonov.
Despite enjoying less of the ball, 11th-placed Paris created more opportunities across the course of the contest and were rewarded with a dramatic winner in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Striker Gory was again the man to punish PSG, tapping a pass from Burnley loanee Luca Koleosho into an unguarded net from close range to spark wild celebrations in the stands.
Defeat for PSG was their sixth of another triumphant league campaign as they await news on the availability of Dembele ahead of their upcoming European appointment with Premier League leaders Arsenal.
