Cheick Diabate double sees Bordeaux boost top 10 hopes
Cheick Diabate scored twice as Bordeaux boosted their hopes of a top 10 finish in Ligue 1 by beating Lorient 3-0.Malcolm opened the scoring for the hosts in the 12th minute and Diabate added a second nine minutes later.Three minutes after the break Diabate netted his 10th goal since January to ensure there was no chance of a Lorient comeback.The victory lifted Bordeaux up to 11th place in the table, behind Montpellier only on goal difference and with a game in hand.The three points were also a boost to Ulrich Rame's chances of being appointed coach on a permanent basis.
