Brentford v Nottm Forest

Extending their visitors' woes, Brentford beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 in a scrappy Premier League clash at the Gtech Community Stadium. The Bees end their own winless run by scoring once in each half - both times with the help of a hapless Milenkovic. Before the break, Forest's Serbian centre-back put Outtara's dangerous cross past his own goalkeeper, and when the game was tightly poised with 15 minutes remaining, his attempted block only sent Igor Thiago's tame shot into the back of the net. Glasner's side barely created anything at the other end, though McAtee fired narrowly wide and Gibbs-White saw a header cleared away from the goal-line - the league's lowest scorers finished with an xG of 0.85. Brentford only produced 0.46 xG from seven shots - just one of which was on target - but their precious win is worth three points in any case. While they ascend to sixth place, Forest are second-bottom of the table as things stand. That's all from our live coverage today, so thank you for joining us and goodbye!

FULL-TIME: BRENTFORD 2-0 NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Trying to engineer a finish when the ball is delivered behind him from the left wing, Wilson heads wide of the near post; Sels watches the ball loop over the byline.

There will be a minimum of four minutes stoppage time at the Gtech, but Brentford seem to have this game all sewn up.

After Damsgaard's drive from outside the box is blocked, Van den Berg commits a foul and concedes a free-kick. Still stuck inside their own half, Nottingham Forest look a beaten side right now.

Towards the end of a tough shift, Milenkovic recovers well to snuff out Wilson's direct run into the box. Despite leading by two, Brentford are not sitting back and still look like they fancy a third goal.
