Midway through June, the Los Angeles Dodgers (+200) and New York Yankees (+500) remain a class above the rest of MLB for World Series futures, with the Atlanta Braves and Seattle Mariners continuing to challenge at +850. That said, the Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies, both at 13-1, have improved their championship odds considerably in recent weeks after starting in very different places this season.

The Brewers began the campaign with 14th-best 35-1 World Series odds and have continued to shorten as they lead the NL Central. The Phillies, meanwhile, began the season at 16-1 and lengthened all the way out to 25-1 after a poor start.

Another riser to watch is the Texas Rangers, who entered the top eight on the odds board at 22-1 after opening the season at 30-1. Further, the red-hot Chicago White Sox are now 80-1 to win the World Series after coming into the campaign at 500-1, tied for the worst odds in MLB.
