James Wade rolled back the years to win his first European Tour title since 2016 with Flanders Darts Trophy success over Ross Smith.
With Luke Littler and Luke Humphries not involved in Antwerp, Gian van Veen was the top seed and he progressed into the last four before being beaten in a last-leg decider by Smith.
Wade, who was seeded second, showed his intent with a 6-0 thrashing of Danny Noppert in the quarterfinals.
An average of 97.50 was enough for Wade to see off Damon Heta and book a place in the final against fellow Englishman Smith.
Wade established an early advantage after Smith missed 64 on his throw to go 3-2 up before double 10 put him 6-3 ahead and only two away from victory, which arrived when 'The Machine' checked out 16 to secure the match and overall tournament.
