Virginia guard Kyle Guy announced Monday he plans to keep his name in the NBA draft and will not return to the Cavaliers for his senior season. Guy announced last week he was declaring for the draft, but left the door open to a possible return. He is one of four Virginia players to enter their names into the NBA draft, along with Ty Jerome, De'Andre Hunter and Mamadi Diakite.
Mamadi Diakite, the Cavs forward from Guinea who played the hero role in Virginia's Elite Eight win over Purdue, declared for the draft, joining teammates De'Andre Hunter, Ty Jerome and Kyle Guy.

Kyle Guy announces he will declare for the NBA draft. He is not ranked in the ESPN Top 100 and left open the option to return to school. "I am diving in to this with two feet to achieve my dream but I will leave the option of coming back to school open," Guy said.
Hunter is likely to be a lottery pick. The 6-foot-7 redshirt sophomore is ranked as the No. 5 overall player by ESPN and the No. 2 power forward behind only Duke's Zion Williamson. Jerome is ranked No. 29 overall and the No. 8 shooting guard.
