BALTIMORE -- — Elijah Tucker's 17 points helped Longwood defeat Morgan State 88-54 on Sunday.
Tucker had 11 rebounds for the Lancers (8-1). Walyn Napper added 13 points while going 6 of 11 from the field, and they also had five rebounds, seven assists, and four steals. Michael Christmas shot 3 of 4 from the field and 5 for 8 from the line to finish with 12 points, while adding seven rebounds. The Lancers picked up their eighth straight win.
Wynston Tabbs led the Bears (2-8) in scoring, finishing with 12 points and four assists. Will Thomas added 11 points for Morgan State. In addition, Kameron Hobbs finished with 11 points. The Bears extended their losing streak to seven straight.
