JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- — Matt Balanc scored 25 points as Quinnipiac beat Saint Peter's 89-74 on Saturday.
Balanc shot 8 of 15 from the field, including 4 for 6 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 5 from the line for the Bobcats (23-8, 15-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Paul Otieno scored 18 points and added seven rebounds and three steals. Amarri Tice had 14 points and shot 3 of 6 from the field and 7 for 7 from the line.
The Peacocks (16-13, 12-8) were led by Corey Washington, who posted 21 points and seven rebounds. Marcus Randolph added 14 points for Saint Peter's. Michael Houge had 12 points.
