Adriana's brace leads Orlando Pride past Angel City FC
The Orlando Pride defeated Angel City FC 3-0 at BMO Stadium on Saturday. Adrianna scored twice in the first half, and Barbra Banda added a late goal to secure the victory for Orlando.
Adriana opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a right-footed shot from outside the box that found the top left corner, assisted by Marta following a fast break. She doubled her tally six minutes later with another right-footed effort from close range against Angel City goalkeeper DiDi Haracic.
Banda sealed victory with an injury-time goal from very close range.
