Angel City's Claire Emslie opened the scoring in the first half, assisted by Alyssa Thompson.  

Vanessa DiBernardo equalized for Kansas City early in the second half, assisted by Bia Zaneratto. Lavogez scored twice within minutes late in the match to secure victory for Kansas City.
