Ebbsfleet confirmed their place in the Vanarama National League play-offs with a 1-1 draw at already-relegated Torquay.
After pulling off a fine save with his feet to deny Corey Whitely in the first half, Torquay goalkeeper Vincent Dorel had to be at his best to keep out Luke Coulson's effort just after the hour mark.
But Dorel was beaten in the 69th minute when substitute Jack Connors' cross floated over his head and into the net.
It took Torquay just two minutes to level as Rhys Healey converted from the penalty spot after Brett Williams was fouled by Kenny Clark.
Dorel saved well from Coulson as Ebsfleet went in search of a winner, but the point was enough to book a play-off date with Aldershot.
