Barr makes Peterhead pay penalty
Robert Barr scored a stoppage-time penalty to earn play-off chasing Brechin a 2-2 Scottish League One draw with Peterhead at Glebe Park.Paul MacLean had the first real opportunity of the game for Brechin but saw his 13th-minute effort turned away by Graeme Smith.Gary McDonald then headed wide for Peterhead before MacLean sent a header of his own wide of the post.The lively MacLean forced Smith into another save before Peterhead went ahead in the 25th minute when McDonald headed home Cammy Kerr's cross.Just four minutes later they doubled their advantage when Steven Noble fired past Graeme Smith in the Brechin goal.The hosts got themselves back into the game two minutes before the break when Colin Hamilton latched onto Barr's pass to beat Smith.Barr pulled an effort wide as Brechin went in search of an equaliser and that leveller came in stoppage time when Barr converted from the spot to earn a point.
