Two goals either side of half-time saw Raith ease past Stirling 2-0 in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.Striker Gordon Smith had a glorious chance to put the hosts in front after just two minutes but somehow headed wide from six yards.Team-mate Alex Cunningham then saw a powerful drive expertly saved by goalkeeper David McGurn before Raith took the lead.Mark Stewart's cross into the box fell kindly to midfielder Barrie McKay and he steered it into the bottom corner after 44 minutes.Rovers doubled their lead shortly after the interval when Grant Anderson's stunning 20-yard effort found the net in the 54th minute.Smith spurned another good opportunity late on with just McGurn to beat but Raith comfortably held on.
