Commentary
The full-time whistle sounds at Stadion Feijenoord as Feyenoord earn their first win of the Champions League campaign after defeating Como 3-2. Como went ahead in the 18th minute with Diao outmuscling Javi Lopez before finding the bottom-left corner. However, the lead only lasted two minutes with Zechiel thumping a finish past Sanchez. Feyenoord should have scored their second in first-half stoppage time, but Sanchez did brilliantly to repel Read and then Javi Lopez’s six-yard header. However, Van Bronckhorst’s side found the back of the net seven minutes after the break with Hadj Moussa beating Sanchez at his near post with a low finish. The visitors came inches close to equalising, but Douvikas somehow scuffed a header from close range. Sanchez had to be alert to brilliantly tip Hadj Moussa's strike onto the upright, but he could not do about Feyenoord’s third. Hadj Moussa’s effort took a nick off Ramon before striking the right-hand post and cannoning off the back of the Chelsea loanee in the 81st minute. However, there was still time for another as Douvikas fired past Ernst in second-half stoppage time, but it was too little too late. The hosts created 13 shots with five on target, reflected by an xG of 0.54, whereas the visitors registered 11 shots with five on target, highlighted by an xG of 1.24. That concludes our live commentary of this Champions League league-phase contest. We hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading and take care!
FULL-TIME: FEYENOORD 3-2 COMO

COMO PULL ONE BACK! THEY MAY HAVE LEFT IT LATE THOUGH! A long ball is played over the Feyenoord defence, with the defender misjudging a clearance. It kindly falls to Douvikas, who thumps a finish into the top-right corner! Is there time for another?! 3-2 to Feyenoord!

Hadj Moussa, who has been sensational today, receives a standing ovation as he makes way for Schaken.
There will be three minutes of stoppage time at the end of the second half.
Feyenoord have scored three goals in the Champions League game for the first time since January 2025 against Bayern Munich (W3-0).
