Commentary
10-man Brighton continue their fine form at the Stadium of Light, as they defeat Sunderland 2-0. There was little to separate the two sides at the break, with Isidor finding the post after his shot took a deflection. Brighton would also find the woodwork, with Struijk heading an effort onto the far post. Brighton would eventually break the deadlock in the second half, with Gross contributing to yet another goal this season by playing it across to De Cuyper in space, where he slotted it past Roefs at his near post. The game would change again moments later, with Struijk sending over Isidor, denying him a goalscoring chance, which resulted in his dismissal after a consultation from VAR. Sunderland would go on to dominate proceedings, however failing to find an equaliser. Brighton would then wrap up the victory in injury time, counter-attacking through Rutter, with Hadjam scoring on his Premier League debut. Brighton finished off with an xG of 1.12, almost doubling Sunderrlands 0.64. With their third consecutive victory, Brighton remain third, with Sunderland now sat in 16th. Next up for Sunderland is a trip to the South Coast, as they face Bournemouth, whilst Brighton take on Crystal Palace in the M23 Derby. Thanks for joining us. Goodbye!
FULL-TIME: SUNDERLAND 0-2 BRIGHTON
The fans are quickly filtering out of the Stadium of Light now, as their side have failed to capitalise on a Brighton side which have player with 10 men for over 30 minutes.
Rutter makes an impact from the bench, playing through Hadjam to secure the three points.

GOOAAALLL!!! HADJAM WINS IT FOR BRIGHTON! 2-0! It's a clinical finish from the substitute to secure the three points for Brighton. After Sunderland's constant pressure, the Seagulls counter, with Rutter threading it through to the Algerian. He has space down the left and takes a touch, then fires across goal, beating Roefs from the fine angle, scoring on his Premier League debut.
There are going to be seven minutes added on here. Can Sunderland find a breakthrough in the dying moments?
