COVID-19 forces postponement of Baylor Bears women's basketball game vs. Texas Longhorns

One of the more anticipated Big 12 games of the women's college basketball season, No. 9 Texas at No. 14 Baylor on Sunday, has been postponed because of COVID-19 issues within the Bears' program.

Baylor, which has won or tied for the regular-season Big 12 title the past 11 years, is coming off an upset loss to Kansas State in its Big 12 opener last Sunday. The Bears' game against TCU scheduled for Wednesday had previously been postponed.

Entering Wednesday's matchup with Texas Tech, the Longhorns' only loss this season was at Tennessee in November.

It was also announced Wednesday that No. 16 Georgia Tech at No. 17 Duke has been postponed because of COVID-19 protocols involving the Yellow Jackets.
