Tahi signs tender with Vikings

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings have re-signed restricted free agent fullback Naufahu Tahi.

The Vikings said Tahi signed his contract tender on Tuesday. The fifth-year veteran has been primarily a blocker for running back Adrian Peterson and a special teams player with the Vikings. Tahi caught 10 passes for 67 yards and a touchdown out of the backfield.

The Vikings have two restricted free agents who have not yet signed their contract tenders, defensive end Ray Edwards and quarterback Tarvaris Jackson. The NFL deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets with other teams is Thursday.
