Leeds interested in Man United's Cameron Borthwick-Jackson - sources

Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is wanted by Championship side Leeds, sources have told ESPN FC.

The defender spent last season on loan in the Championship with Wolves but made only seven appearances and spent the second half of the campaign playing for United's under-23s.

Leeds -- who have appointed Thomas Christiansen as their manager after Garry Monk left -- are keen to sign 20-year-old only Borthwick-Jackson, either on loan or permanently.

The England youth international still has three years left on his contract at United after signing a new long-term deal last summer.

He broke into the first team under Louis van Gaal and made 14 appearances during the 2015-16 season.

Meanwhile, sources have told ESPN FC that Rangers are interested in midfielder Matty Willock, who was on the United bench for the Premier League games against West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace last season.

Both Borthwick-Jackson and Willock have been left out of Jose Mourinho's squad for the preseason tour of the United States.
