U.S. youth international Kyle Scott has handed in a transfer request at Chelsea, a source close to the player's camp has told ESPN FC.
Scott, who joined Chelsea as an under-10 from Southampton, has been instrumental in the club's success in winning the UEFA Youth League for the last two seasons.
The 18-year-old midfielder only signed a new contract until 2019 in February but a source has told ESPN FC that the player has now informed the club that he wants to leave, with a host of top European clubs showing interest.
Scott was born in England but, as well as representing the Three Lions at U16 level, he has also played for Republic of Ireland's U17s and United States' U18s.
He was also part of the Chelsea side that won the FA Youth Cup last season.
