Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs could leave the club this summer in search of regular first-team football, a source close to the player has told ESPN FC.
Gibbs, 26, has fallen behind Nacho Monreal in the pecking order for the left-back slot and has made only three Premier League starts this season.
The Englad international, who has come through the ranks at Arsenal, was regarded as the club's long-term left-back, but the form of Monreal has forced him to play a back-up role on the bench.
The source told ESPN FC that Gibbs is frustrated by his lack of opportunities and that the defender has informed Gunners boss Arsene Wenger he wants to be playing more games at this stage of his career.
The source added that Wenger understands Gibbs' frustrations and Arsenal could decide to let the player move on if they can bring in a replacement this summer.
