Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is facing a lengthy spell out after damaging his Achilles tendon in training on Monday.
The Chile international will fly to Barcelona for tests on a ruptured tendon in his left foot tomorrow, which could potentially rule him out for up to six months.
City said in a statement: "Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has sustained an Achilles tendon injury in today's training session.

Bravo's injury is the second major setback already this season after Kevin De Bruyne was ruled out for around three months with a knee ligament injury.
Bravo tweeted: "No matter what happens, or how bad it looks today, life goes on, and tomorrow will certainly be better."

The injury leaves City with just one senior keeper in Brazil international Ederson with 20-year-old Daniel Grimshaw now set to become his understudy.
Grimshaw, who signed a three-year contract in June, has not made an appearance for the first team but could be on the bench for Saturday's trip to Wolves.
Sources have indicated that the club is looking into a number of options to bring in cover, including bringing back last season's third-choice keeper Aro Muric, who was set to spend the season on loan at Dutch side NAC Breda.
City sold former England goalkeeper Joe Hart to Burnley and ex-England Under-21 keeper Angus Gunn to Southampton in the summer.
