Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said club captain Jordan Henderson is ready to return from injury for the Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
Henderson sustained a hamstring injury during the 1-0 defeat in the first leg of the round-of-16 tie in Madrid.
The midfielder has missed the last four matches but Klopp said he is back in contention to feature.
"Hendo is ready," he told a news conference. "What we do with that I don't know. Well, I know but I won't say."
Klopp also said he will respect any decision regarding matches being played behind closed doors due to coronavirus.
The football world has been affected by coronavirus with a number of Champions League fixtures to be played without supporters and all Serie A matches halted until next month.
"It's not about me as a manager, it's about being a human being," he added.
"Some things are more important than football and we realised that in this moment. We need time to find a solution for that. I don't know enough.
"Whatever will be decided, we will respect. It's clear that we will accept that but I don't know how much sense it will make in this moment. That is how it is."
