Thomas Lemar replaces Kingsley Coman in France squad

Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman has withdrawn from France's squad ahead of Friday's 2018 World Cup qualifier with Sweden.

The French Football Federation had announced on Wednesday Coman, 20, would undergo further medical examination on his left ankle after an injury in training.

The FFF added in a further statement on Thursday that Coman is also suffering with a left knee problem, and so has been forced to pull out of Friday's game in Paris and next Tuesday's friendly with Ivory Coast in Lens.

Monaco's Thomas Lemar, who has yet to win a senior international cap, has been called up to replace Coman.
