Real Madrid lining up audacious move for Man United's Paul Pogba

Clubs are slowly turning their eyes toward the summer window, and Transfer Talk has the updates on all the latest rumours.

Real planning audacious Pogba swoop

Real Madrid are planning an ambitious move for Paul Pogba after speculation that the Manchester United midfielder is having regrets over his £89 million move from Juventus.

The France midfielder, whilst picking up two trophies last season, has seen the Red Devils fail to stay in contention to win the Premier League for a second straight season, with rivals Manchester City coasting toward the title this term.

The Sun says United would be unwilling to sell their talisman after just two years and with three years left on his five-year contract, despite a reportedly mixed relationship with manager Jose Mourinho of late.

Real would have to offer in excess of £120m to even stand a chance of landing the 24-year-old, the report claims, though another season in England is almost assured despite Real's intentions.

Arsenal and Chelsea target Shaw

Arsenal and Chelsea are monitoring Luke Shaw's contract situation with interest as Manchester United look to finalise negotiations over a new deal, reports the Mail.

The England left-back has one more season to run on his current contract after signing for £31.5m from Southampton in 2014, as United triggered a one-year option this season to avoid losing the player for free this summer.

Despite a string of injuries, the London clubs are keen on the 22-year-old, though Mourinho is in a relaxed mood over his future, stating recently: "The natural consequence of it is that he will have his contract and he will be a United player for years."

The Gunners appear to have a more obvious need for Shaw with Arsene Wenger so far unconvinced with Sead Kolasinac since his move from Schalke. The champions signed Emerson Palmieri as cover for Marcos Alonso on their left side, so that does not appear a problem area for the time being.

Liverpool want pre-summer Allison deal

Jurgen Klopp hopes to have a new goalkeeper in place before the summer with ESPN FC sources reporting that Liverpool are stepping up their pursuit of Roma's Alisson.

The Brazilian will not come cheap, though, should the Reds want an upgrade for Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius, as Roma value the 26-year-old at £62m (€70m).

The Giallorossi goalkeeping coach has described Alisson as the "Messi of goalkeepers," with the Italians eager to persuade the former Internacional star to sign an extension.

Liverpool hope to beat potential competition from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, who are both expected to move for new No.1s this summer by striking a deal in the coming months before the window opens.

- Inter, Lazio and Napoli are all tracking Porto star Diego Reyes, after the Mexican's agent told Calciomercato that scouts were present to watch his client against Liverpool in the Champions League.

Reyes was unable to show his best with the Dragoes conceding five against the rampant Reds, but the centre-back looks set to have the opportunity to move to Serie A this summer after the World Cup with El Tri.

- Newcastle had a £7m bid rejected by Galatasaray for winger Garry Rodriguez, reports Turkish newspaper Gunes.

The Toon may return this summer for the Cape Verdean star, with the Turkish club demanding £14m for the 27-year-old, who has three goals and seven assists in the Super Lig.
