Nainggolan, however, appears to have put any talk of him leaving Roma to bed, telling talkSPORT that he'd be signing a new deal with Luciano Spalletti's side shortly.
"A renewal? I had already decided to stay," confirmed the Giallorossi star. "I'm happy here and this thing will work itself out.
"I think we're both on the same page, we'll find an agreement soon."
As one of the most complete midfielders in the world, Spalletti will be delighted to maintain the former Cagliari general for the long-term, while the Blues will be forced to move on.
