Eric Lichaj got a dog.
Two days after scoring a brace for Nottingham Forest to knock Arsenal out of the FA Cup, the U.S. international got what he really wanted out of his career performance.
Lichaj explained to BT Sport after his side's 4-2 win on Sunday that his wife, Kathryn Lichaj, had promised to allow him to get a dog if he scored a hat trick this season.
And though he fell one goal short against the Gunners, his online campaign to #GetEricADog appears to have gotten Mrs. Lichaj to cave, as he showed off his new pooch on Tuesday.
Wanted to show everyone the newest member of the Lichaj family.... Gunner. Thank you everyone for for pushing @KatPerko in the right direction! #erichasadog pic.twitter.com/SoTKiYiVMR

And that name, Gunner ... how does that make you feel, Arsenal fans?
