Laurens: Mbappe has not told PSG he wants to leave (1:10)

Julien Laurens confirms Kylian Mbappe has not asked to leave PSG and the club are optimistic he will extend his current contract. (1:10)

The coronavirus pandemic has made the transfer market uncertain -- you can find out when the windows close here -- but here are the rumours floating around Europe's big leagues and beyond. Plus, check out all the latest major completed transfers across Europe.

TOP STORY: Real Madrid, Liverpool target Mbappe in 2021

Both Real Madrid and Liverpool are looking to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe next summer, reports L'Equipe.

Jurgen Klopp's team are reportedly in regular contact with the World Cup winner, and Real Madrid are looking to make a move of their own.

The Frenchman will have one year left on his contract with PSG by the time the season ends, which is something both clubs will aim to take advantage of as the French giants look to avoid losing him for free.

Mbappe has revealed his admiration for Liverpool in the past and has referred to Real as a "dream" move. But even amid the COVID-19 pandemic, he would still command a fee that would rival Neymar's world record of €222m.

23.00 BST: That will do it for the latest edition of our LIVE Transfer Talk blog. We hoped you enjoyed following along with us and remind you to check back shortly for the latest transfer rumours, reports and completed deals. Goodnight!

22.49 BST: With the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, is Callum Hudson-Odoi set to leave Chelsea on loan?

Chelsea coach Frank Lampard has admitted Hudson-Odoi could leave Chelsea before the transfer window closes on Oct. 5 but is still uncertain

"I'm going to skirt around that question. It remains to be seen," said Lampard.

"We're not in a period where the transfer window or market is acting like it has done in recent years in terms of how players move or what level they move at. The competitive games have just started. I'm very open to those conversations with the players as the next couple of weeks go on.

Hudson-Odoi, 19, would seem ready to play more minutes and would be highly coveted on the loan market by clubs in England and abroad.

22.15 BST: We have a done deal... and it is a big one.

Juventus have announced that they have completed a loan deal for Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

The 27-year-old is set for his second loan spell at the Old Lady, following a fruitful two-year loan spell in Turn between 2014-16. The ex-Real Madrid and Chelsea striker will initially join Juve on loan in 2020-21 for €10 million, with Juve then having the right to purchase the player outright for €45m after the season or extend Morata's loan for the 2021-22 season for another €10m.

Morata, who scored 16 goals over all competitions last season for Atletico, bagged 27 in 93 appearances and won four major trophies during his previous spell at Juve. As we mentioned below, Morata's move to Juve will free up Atletico Madrid to sign Luis Suarez in the coming days.

21.54 BST: We have an update in the ongoing Luis Suarez saga...

First he was off to Juventus, then he was staying, then he was going to Atletico Madrid, then Barca wouldn't allow him to leave and now it looks like the Uruguayan will join Atletico Madrid after all. Sources have confirmed to ESPN's Sam Marsden and Moises Llorens that Suarez's move to Atletico is back on!

Barring another late twist, the 33-year-old Suarez will join Atletico after scoring 198 goals and winning 10 major trophies in six seasons with Barca. Griezmann with Barca and Suarez with Atleti? Those two La Liga fixtures just got a lot juicier...

21.18 BST: Nottingham Forest have signed rugged midfielder Harry Arter from Bournemouth.

The 30-year-old joins on a permanent basis after 10 years at Bournemouth, though the Republic of Ireland international spent most of the last two seasons out on loan. Arter, who helped Fulham to promotion last year while on loan, figures to bring steel and experience to a Forest club that has designs on making it back to the Premier League for the first time since 1999.

20.42 BST: Everton did some midfield remodeling this summer, signing James Rodriguez, Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure but what will happen to young Tom Davies?

Reports in England suggest that Southampton have interest in the 22-year-old but have yet to open talks with Everton for the player. Southampton's interest in Davies makes sense on the surface, as the Saints sold central midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Tottenham earlier this summer.

20.04 BST: West Ham to bring back Euro 2016 standout on a cut-rate deal?

Portuguese outlet O Jogo claims that three Premier League clubs, including West Ham, are in for Internazionale winger Joao Mario. The 27-year-old, who spent the second-half of the 2018 season on loan at West Ham, played in Russia on loan with Lokomotiv Moscow last season but reportedly has no place under Antonio Conte at parent club Inter.

Leeds, Newcastle, Galatasaray, Real Betis and Valencia are also considering Mario, whose career has stalled since arriving in Milan after the 2016 Euros for €40 million.

19.11 BST: AC Milan are reportedly in the market for a centre-back and a forgotten, former Premier League winner could be the club's solution, according to Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio.

Di Marzio has learned that Schalke 04 and ex-Man City defender Matija Nastasic has become an option for the Rossoneri, with Milan become skeptical of signing Fiorentina ace Nikola Milenkovic. Now 27, Nastasic has played the last six seasons with Schalke but has been made available, with the German club looking to cut after compiling debts of almost €200 million.

A Premier League winner with City in 2014, Nastasic previously spent time in Italy with Fiorentina.

18.33 BST: Javi Martinez is set to return to Athletic Bilbao after eight seasons at Bayern Munich, Bild reports. The midfielder had also been linked with a host of other clubs including Real Sociedad. But his former club have now reportedly won the race for Martinez.

The 32-year-old's legacy at the Allianz Arena includes a Bundesliga title every season, two Trebles as well as five German cup wins. Martinez featured in 238 competitive matches for Bayern, scoring 13 goals and setting up a further nine. However, Martinez dropped down the pecking order in recent years and struggled with injuries following an anterior cruciate ligament tear in August 2014.

He is now set to return to Bilbao for a fee in the €10m region, a quarter of the transfer fee he commanded in 2012, when he set the league record for the most expensive player at the time.

18.09 BST: Derby have brought ex-loan star Jordan Ibe back to Pride Park on a free transfer.

The ex-Liverpool man played the 2014-15 season on loan with Derby, scoring five goals in 20 league appearances. Ibe has mostly underwhelmed the past four seasons at Bournemouth after arriving for a then club-record £15 million in 2016.

17.36 BST: Lille are set to make one last push to sign Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, claims the Scottish Sun.

The paper writes that the French club are set to make a "take-it-or-leave-it bid of £18 million" for the Colombian, who they tried to sign earlier this summer. The 24-year-old Morelos, who has scored 82 goals in 145 games since arriving at Ibrox in 2017, has been vocal about leaving Rangers this summer and is also reportedly on the radar of West Brom.

Earlier this summer, Lille signed Canadian forward Jonathan David, after having talks with Gers regarding Morelos.

17.02 BST: RB Leipzig have their Timo Werner replacement at last, as last season's Champions League semi-finalists have unveiled Alexander Sorloth as their new No. 9.

The 24-year-old attacker joins from Crystal Palace via Trabzonspor, where he scored 33 goals in 49 games last season while on loan. Following complicated negotiations, Leipzig and the selling clubs agreed on a €20 million fee plus €2 million in bonuses and a 20 percent participation in the earnings of the next transfer.

Palace and Trabzonspor will equally split the fee, according to the Turkish club.

16.45 BST: MLS expansion side Austin FC signed Paraguay international winger Cecilio Dominguez back in August and the Designated Player has let loose in an interview with ESPN Argentina about his time at Independiente.

"From the time I arrived until I left, it was lamentable," he said. "There was a reason the team did not perform. I did not feel support and trust. I arrived eager, I asked for [the number] 10 and they didn't give it to me. Even in that I felt bad, I did not feel respected."

"We did not talk about football in camp. We talked about when they would pay us. There came a time when we did not want to train."

16.25 BST: Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has said the Premier League's "long-ball football" put him off moving to England until the latter stages of his career.

When asked whether he had ever come close to playing in the Premier League before this season, the former PSG and Milan defender replied: "If I were to say 'yes' to you on that, I would be lying. I've never really seen myself in the Premier League previously. That was because I saw it as a difficult style of football, personally. I didn't have any desire to play in the Premier League.

"My impression of the football playing was that one with long ball, high balls and long shots. At the time, I couldn't really see myself playing in that championship. But over time, the championship has developed tremendously. There is a lot more technical quality."

16.11 BST: USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie's loan move from Schalke to Juventus will require him to be patient.

15.36 BST: Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah is one of the candidates to reinforce Leicester City's defence, kicker reports.

Tah, 24, is under contract until 2023, which includes a €40m release clause, but the German outlet says both clubs could reach an agreement over a loan deal.

The Germany defender has lost his place in Leverkusen's starting formation for the first two matches of this season and a move could revive his career ahead of the Euros next summer. However, with Leverkusen already losing Kai Havertz to Chelsea and attacker Kevin Volland to AS Monaco, the club are undecided whether they want to lose another prominent member of their squad.

15.02 BST: If you've seen reports linking Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele to Manchester United, you can probably ignore those now.

14.45 BST: Atlanta United has signed midfielder Marcelino Moreno from Argentine side Lanus for an undisclosed fee.

Moreno, 25, will join the club as a Designated Player and Atlanta United Vice President and Technical Director Carlos Bocanegra said: "We're pleased to bring in a player of Marcelino's caliber and look forward to welcoming him to the club. He is a dynamic attacking midfielder who has proven to be a consistent performer in the Argentine Superliga. He has fantastic balance and change of direction ability and is a player who can create on his own or bring others into the game."

14.41 BST: Gareth Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett says that the winger could stay at Tottenham beyond his season-long loan from Real Madrid.

"Yeah, there are lots of opportunities; it's up to him," Barnett told talkSPORT. "The most important thing is for him to enjoy his football and that he's playing well. As long as that's happening, it'll all be fine.

"He's a mature man now and he knows what he wants out of life. He's probably the most successful footballer Britain has ever produced, and there's lots of things he still wants to do with his life, so we'll have to wait and see."

Asked if the 31-year-old struggled with the decision to leave Madrid, having won 13 major titles, Barnett insisted the London club were always in Bale's mind.

"It was a fairly easy decision," he added. "He had other choices but Tottenham is his love, he loves Tottenham and at the end of the day that's the one he wanted. It's good to see him happy.

"If he was going to move this summer, it was only to somewhere where he could smile again and be happy, he wasn't just going to move for the sake of it. We had other clubs, maybe bigger clubs than Tottenham, interested, but he had to happy with where he went and I think he is now."

14.05 BST: USWNT star Alex Morgan could make her debut for Tottenham against Arsenal in the FA Cup this weekend, but why did she choose to move to London?

McKennie 'not a guaranteed starter' despite solid Juve debut

Matteo Bonetti says USMNT's Weston McKennie needs to build on his first Juve game to become a regular in the lineup.

13.45 BST: Frank Lampard has confirmed that Chelsea are set to sign Rennes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

"Mendy is having a medical as we speak," he told a news conference. "Subject to that being okay, then he will be a Chelsea player. Petr [Cech] was important in that [signing him]. It's a particular position and he has had a big say and was very instrumental.

"With Mendy, it is more competition and it will push Kepa himself to be in this team."

13.33 BST: The Sun claims that Manchester United asked about the possibility of signing Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

But it didn't go beyond that question as Everton want £80m for a player they signed for £1.5m from Sheffield United four years ago.

The 23-year-old scored a hat trick in Saturday's 5-2 win over West Brom but even that kind of form shouldn't mean he's worth that much yet.

13.09 BST: Sky Sports reports that "England U17 international Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is in Germany finalising a deal with Borussia Dortmund."

Gittens, 16, has been a part of Manchester City's Academy and the club would be due some form of compensation if he moves to the Bundesliga club.

Of course the last player to swap City's Academy for Dortmund was a certain Jadon Sancho... back in 2017 he cost Dortmund around £8m and is now valued at over £100m.

12.55 BST: Matteo Guendouzi has not handed in a transfer request at Arsenal, sources have told ESPN's James Olley.

The Gunners are ready to listen to offers for the 21-year-old midfielder, who has been left out of all three matchday squads by head coach Mikel Arteta so far this season. Lyon are reported to have rejected a proposal from Arsenal to include Guendouzi as a makeweight in a deal which would see Houssem Aouar move to Emirates Stadium -- a further indication of Arsenal's willingness to do business.

However, the club are not close to an agreement with any club and speculation that Guendouzi had submitted a formal request is unfounded. After Arteta questioned Guendouzi's attitude following his red card at Brighton last season, the midfielder began training on his own but he has since returned to working with the first-team squad.

12.34 BST: Corriere dello Sport reports that Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik is of interest to Newcastle.

Milik, 26, had been linked with a move to Roma but that deal has fallen through, according to the report. And as a result the Poland international is on the market and Newcastle could take advantage, though they have already spent £20m on Bournemouth's Callum Wilson so perhaps they are looking elsewhere now.

12.12 BST: The Guardian reports that Manchester United are in advanced talks over Porto defender Alex Telles.

Telles, 27, can be signed for a release clause of €40m but United are hoping to strike a deal around €25m as the Brazil left-back is in the final year of his contract.

11.31 BST: It's safe to say that Patrice Evra isn't overly happy about events at Manchester United recently.

Former Man United player Patrice Evra releases a 20-minute rant claiming people at Old Trafford lack respect.

11.00 BST: Luis Suarez is furious with Barcelona after the club backtracked on an agreement to let him leave for free when it emerged he was close to signing for Atletico Madrid, sources have told ESPN's Sam Marsden and Moises Llorens.

Suarez is now considering holding a news conference alongside his lawyers if the situation cannot be resolved to give his version of events. He believes a verbal agreement reached with Barca this week to terminate his contract should be honoured.

After being told he could leave the club by new coach Ronald Koeman last month, the striker's legal team had been negotiating the recision of their client's deal with Barca.

10.40 BST: Villarreal have confirmed the signing of 20-year-old centre-back Jorge Cuenca from Barcelona B.

Barcelona continue to frantically sell players as they look to raise money to allow Ronald Koeman to remodel the squad before the transfer window closes next month.

The latest player to leave the club is Spain U21 defender Cuenca, who joins Villarreal for an initial €2.5m, with an additional €4m due in possible add-ons. Barca have a buyback option on the centre-back, who's made one first-team appearance, and will also be due 20% of any future sale.

Cuenca becomes the third player to leave the club in the last two days, following Moussa Wague's loan move to PAOK and Arturo Vidal's transfer to Inter Milan. Official confirmation of Nelson Semedo's €40m switch to Wolves is expected soon.

10.20 BST: UPDATE from Paper Talk: Barcelona have approached Ajax to ask how much they want for USMNT right-back Sergino Dest, while Bayern Munich are still in discussions as the two clubs try to find a compromise over a transfer fee, sources have told ESPN's Tom Hamilton.

The chase is heating up for the 19-year-old, with both European giants keen on bolstering their defence with the young full-back.

Bayern were leading the race late last week and were the only club to make a direct approach, as they seek to add depth to their defence.

Barca have been long-standing admirers of Dest, though any interest was dependent on them selling players. Now, with Nelson Semedo closing in on a €40m move to Wolves, Barcelona are looking for a new right-back with Dest and Norwich's Max Aarons on their radar.

Dest is understood to be Barca manager Ronald Koeman's preferred option but Aarons has been a long-term target and sources close to the 20-year-old said Barca began sounding him out about a move in May. They have since had a loan bid turned down.

Barcelona's season starts on Sunday and the club currently only have Sergi Roberto as an option at right-back so will look to sign a player quickly this week once the money comes in from Semedo's move.

Additional reporting from Moises Llorens and Sam Marsden.

10.01 BST: Arturo Vidal has completed a €1m transfer from Barcelona to Inter Milan.

09.41 BST: Fulham are closing in on the signing of central defender Marlon from Sassuolo, sources have told ESPN's Tom Hamilton.

Scott Parker's Fulham have shipped seven goals in their first two Premier League matches and have moved quickly to bolster their defence. Marlon, 25, joined Sassuolo in 2018 from Barcaelona and has caught the eye of the newly promoted Premier League side with a fee in the region of £13m agreed, sources have told ESPN.

Marlon was left out of Sassuolo's starting line-up for their opening round match against Cagliari. When Barcelona sold Marlon in 2018 they confirmed they would get 50% of any future sale and also had a buy back clause.

08.59 BST: Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has arrived in Turin ahead of his proposed return to Juventus on loan, the Italian champions revealed on social media last night.

Morata, 27, joined Juve from Real Madrid in 2014 before returning to them two years later having won two Serie A titles.

Marca reports that Juve will pay Atletico a €10m fee to loan the Spain international for the season, and he is set to be unveiled on Wednesday.

08.28 BST: Borussia Dortmund have reiterated their stance that of winger and Manchester United target Jadon Sancho will remain at the club for the coming season.

"Jadon is here, and he will stay here," Borussia Dortmund squad manager Sebastian Kehl said at an event organised by local Dortmund paper Ruhr Nachrichten on Monday. "That's an important signal from the club because we have a certain responsibility. Without Jadon this team is not as good."

With the transfer window closing in less than two weeks, and England international Sancho not indicating he could force a move to Manchester United, 20-year-old looks set for another season at the Westfalenstadion.

Sancho has already made two appearances for Dortmund this season, scoring the opener in a 5-0 DFB Pokal win at Duisburg on Sept. 14 before assisting one of Erling Haaland's two goals in Saturday's 3-0 Bundesliga win over Borussia Monchengladbach (stream the replay on ESPN+ in the U.S.).

08.00 BST: Atletico Madrid are near completion of the signing of Luis Suarez after the striker edged closer to terminating his contract with Barcelona, various sources have confirmed to ESPN's Sam Marsden and Rodrigo Faez.

The talks between the two La Liga sides comes as Alvaro Morata prepares a return to Juventus from Atletico on a loan with an option to buy. The Spanish playmaker arrived in Turin, where he played from 2014-16, on Monday ahead of an official announcement.

Suarez, 33, has one more year to run on the terms he signed with Barca in 2016 but was told by new coach Ronald Koeman last month that he was not part of his plans. Koeman did not call him up for any of Barca's friendlies in preseason but said he would look to reintegrate him into the squad if he ended up staying.

Sergino Dest 'likely' to join Bayern Munich

Archie Rhind-Tutt has the latest on Bayern Munich's transfer targets, saying Ajax's Sergino Dest will be on his way.

PAPER TALK (by Danny Lewis): Bayern closing in on Dest

Barcelona have been strongly linked with Sergino Dest, but Bayern Munich are closing in on a move for the Ajax full-back, reports AD.

The Netherlands giants originally turned down an approach from Bavaria, but Bayern have come in with another one, which is closer to the €20m Ajax had been looking to bring in for the USMNT player.

The 19-year-old turned down a new contract with Ajax. He looks to follow Hakim Ziyech and Donny van de Beek out of the door after they joined Chelsea and Manchester United, respectively.

The report has gone as far as to suggest that a move to Bayern seems imminent.

Atletico to meet with Cavani's representatives

Atletico Madrid are getting closer to a deal for Barcelona frontman Luis Suarez, but they are not stopping there, reports L'Equipe.

The French outlet has suggested that the La Liga side are set to meet with his compatriot Edinson Cavani's representatives to discuss a move for the former PSG striker.

The Uruguayan's contract with the Ligue 1 champions came to an end after last season, and there have been numerous links regarding his future since then.

It appears he might be about to finally settle on a new home, playing alongside a familiar face in Suarez.

Tap-ins

-- Roma are adamant that they want to sign Manchester United defender Chris Smalling but don't want to pay over the odds, according to Calciomercato. The Red Devils are said to be demanding €20m for the Englishman, while Roma have offered €13m.
