Carmen Jorda will return to racing this weekend when she competes in the Renault Sport Trophy series at Spanish circuit Motorland Aragon.

Former Lotus development driver Jorda has not raced since losing her GP3 seat to Dean Stoneman at Monza in 2014. At the start of the following season she was picked up by Lotus to a development role which did not feature any appearances in practice sessions.

Since Lotus' acquisition by Renault she has become a brand ambassador for the French manufacturer. This weekend she will race in the Prestige (Am) category and partner two-time 24 Hours of Dubai class winner Jordon Grogor at the V8 Racing team.

Jorda is one of 28 drivers on the Motorland entry list.
