Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo is keen to set up a charity boxing bout with triple world champion Lewis Hamilton as he gears up for his home race at the Australian Grand Prix.
The 26-year-old was asked about his pre-season training regime and noticed Hamilton was back in the ring.
"I saw Lewis was doing a bit of boxing as well in the off-season and I was just having a bit of fun with training, changing it up and hitting some pads," he said.
"I did a little Tweet once mentioning a potential charity match in the ring. Something like that would be fun, sure. I'll get the race over with this week and see how we go," he said with a laugh.
Seems I'm not the only one throwing hands these days. Charity match?? https://t.co/WNABGREMoA— Daniel Ricciardo (@danielricciardo) February 6, 2016
Ricciardo heads to Albert Park to begin his sixth season in Formula One, the Australian's best finish down under came last year when he took sixth place, although he did taste champagne with a second place finish in 2014 before later being disqualified over a fuel flow breach.
