OpTic Gaming Los Angeles announced on Friday that Zack "Drazah" Jordan and Darien "Hollow" Chverchko have signed with the Call of Duty League squad. Brandon "Dashy" Otell will be moved out of the starting lineup as a substitute, joining Martin "Chino" Chino, who was moved to the substitute OGLA roster on Monday.
"We want to be performing at a much much higher level, so we're going to be making some changes," Eric "Muddawg" Sanders said in a video OGLA posted to Twitter.
Drazah recently moved from Alaska to Seattle to compete in Modern Warfare in the Call of Duty Challengers series. According to Muddawg, OpTic picked Drazah up not only for his raw talent but his aggressive SMG play. Hollow has not finished outside of top three in Challengers this year. Drazah and Hollow also recently teamed together on UYU.
Roster moves for OGLA began on May 4, when Chino joined the starting lineup, replacing Jordan "JKap" Kaplan following a disappointing finish at the Chicago Huntsmen's online home series on April 24-26.
OGLA are currently eighth in the Call of Duty League standings with a total of 70 points. Their next tournament will be the London Royal Ravens' online home series on July 17-19, where they will face the Florida Mutineers in the first round of group play.
