4.25pm So, what an end to the tri-series after a compelling tournament. India A take the title after a good win. Australia were dominant throughout the tournament but their batting failed in the big game. India A bowled excellently well and started well in the chase, but lost their way in the middle. But a brilliant fighting knock by Gurkeerat Singh and a good partnership with Sanju Samson took them through.

Mayank Agarwal is the Man of the Tournament. "Once i get in, my job is to bat deep. I'm trying to bat as long as possible."

Gurkeerat Singh is the Man of the Match. "I had to play patiently, I knew once I get in I could take it to the end. When I was bowling slower, it was stopping a bit. I realised after bowling that it is better to be slower on this surface."

Usman Khawaja: "We played beautiful cricket, we were consistently the best team here but not today. In these sorts of tournament, if you don't win the final, you don't get the trophy. The wicket was a bit two-paced today."

Unmukt Chand: "Really happy with the win. We bowled the best in the tournament today. Agarwal's run out was unfortunate and I didn't play a good shot either. It has been unbelievable to share the dressing room with Rahul Dravid. He has been a real strength."

Rahul Dravid: "We did not play too many clever shots in the middle, we played some good common sense cricket throughout the match, though. Required run-rate never crossed 4-4.50. I thought the bowlers were very good, they bowled to their plans. The strategy to bowl as many spinners at the Australians as possible worked. Its nicer to finish on the winning side but these A-team tri-series are all about opportunities. We were a younger side as compared to the Australia side, who were a lot more experienced."

Ezhilarasan: "@Sid, It is not about winning in league phase rather it is about performing when it matters and handling the pressure what makes a true champion."

Zampa to Gurkeerat Singh, SIX, and that is it! What a shot from Gurkeerat. Match-winning innings from Gurkeerat here. Launches another flighted delivery against the turn but nicely connected well over long-on. India A win the tri-series with a convincing win in the end

Zampa to Gurkeerat Singh, SIX, oh what a shot. Played with the spin well over long-off. Beautiful shot. Great execution with the spin. nicely waited for the ball to come to him before launching down the ground

Sid: "So Australia who were so dominant in the league matches and were undefeated have one bad day and are about to end up as the runners-up. That's why such tournaments should be based on the league format. Whoever has the maximum wins should be declared as the Champion. " I agree..

Zampa to Gurkeerat Singh, FOUR, slapped off the full length over midwicket for a boundary. pciked the length early and got down early to loft well over mid-on

Umpire having a chat with Usman, maybe about the rather superfluous conversation between Samson and Australia's players. Just 14 to win now

Ashish Raina: "People in my office are busy planning their weekend and celebrating independence day tomorrow. And here i am, worried about Mann-Samson partnership."
