What could have been a score in excess of 190 looks like a very chaseable 179 and it came down to the wicket of Russell, who was pretty unlucky to be caught on the third-man fence off a Morris full toss. The Capitals had another couple of lucky breaks through the middle; Shubman Gill, who batted fluently for his fifty and Dinesh Karthik, who was timing the ball well from the get-go, were also unfortunate to find fielders off strokes that probably deserved more. Shikhar Dhawan hasn't struck form so far but tonight might be his night, on a terrific Kolkata surface. Most of the Capitals batsman would salivating at the prospect getting a hit in the middle here tonight. Back with the chase soon
