Jaguars mailbag: Where does Jonas Gray fit in 2016?

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Got questions about the Jacksonville Jaguars? I’ll answer the best one every Saturday morning. Submit your questions via Twitter to @ESPNdirocco. Please use the hashtag #jagsquestion.

@ESPNdirocco: I know coach Gus Bradley and GM David Caldwell liked what they saw from Gray in the final two games (54 yards on 14 carries) and Bradley said at his end-of-season news conference that he is intrigued with Gray and interested to see what he can do, so it looks like the Jaguars are going to take a good look at him throughout the offseason at organized team activities and minicamp.

He’s not going to unset T.J. Yeldon as the No. 1 back, but he could find a role as a complementary back. He’s a different kind of runner than Yeldon. Yeldon glides and hops and is a patient runner. Gray just hammers through the hole and that can give the Jaguars a little change of pace.

However, I believe Toby Gerhart is coming back and the Jaguars are going to give Denard Robinson and Bernard Pierce a look again as well, so Gray is going to have a lot of competition.
