UCLA WBB had two four-game losing streaks this season, but the Bruins steadily improved. No. 6 seed UCLA beat No. 11 Tennessee 89-77 Saturday, just the second NCAA tournament first-round loss for the Lady Vols. The first came in 2009, when Tennessee was a No. 5 seed and fell to No. 12 Ball State. It was Tennessee's third consecutive NCAA early-round loss, as the Lady Vols fell in the second round to Louisville in 2017 and Oregon State in 2018.
One of the biggest surprises of the day — Cal's Kristine Anigwe only has 2 points and North Carolina's Paris Kea just 4 in UNC's 40-37 halftime lead over Cal.

If you aren't watching CMU-Michigan State, I'm sorry. I has been awesome. Tied at 84. 50 seconds left.
After a quick barrage by Mich St and some dominating offensive rebounding by the Spartans, CMU hung around in the 3rd, trailing, 66-61, entering the fourth. Could be a great finish in this one. Reyna Frost only 2 points in the 3rd after 25 in the first half.

Reyna Frost has 23 for CMU and the game hasn't even reached the midway point of the 2nd quarter. The Chippewas are struggling to defend Michigan St, though and the Spartans lead.
