Wanderlei Silva has told Chael Sonnen to stop talking "bulls***" behind a computer, otherwise he will "kill him".

The Axe Murderer is preparing for a gun-slinging clash with Chris Leben this weekend, knowing victory propels him back to where he has spent the majority of his career - in huge, bad-blooded, grudge matches.

Wanderlei has spent 16 months on the sidelines due to injury, and he has been forced to listen to Sonnen and Vitor Belfort tweeting and saying derogatory things about him.

Sonnen's recent efforts on Twitter read: "Axe Murderer, my ass. I'm more intimidated by Axe Body Spray."

Former middleweight No. 1 contender Sonnen is free to fight again following a lengthy suspension, confirming on Wednesday: "I can finally get back to the most important thing in my life, defending my middleweight championship."

Anderson Silva is the actual champion, but Sonnen believes he is the rightful owner after victory was snatched away at the death of their fight at UFC 117. To get back to a rematch he will need to beat at least one big name, and Wanderlei is ready.

"Sonnen... I kill him. I kill him fast. This guy talks a lot of bulls***, he talks s*** about a lot of fighters," Silva told MMA Fighting.

"Don't talk it about me because that's dangerous, one day we'll see each other again. I'm gonna want to know why you just hide behind a computer."

Asked if he would accept a fight with Sonnen, Silva answered: "Of course, I'll have him and I'll have Belfort. Two good names. I'll fight both. I'd fight Brian Stann but not right now. I don't like Sonnen or Belfort - it's better for me."
