Two huge light-heavyweight match-ups will reportedly take place at UFC 161, with Dan Henderson set to meet Rashad Evans, and Mauricio Shogun Rua heading for Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

The bouts were confirmed by USA Today, with the event set to take place for the first time in Winnipeg, Canada on June 15.

Henderson and Evans need to bounce back quickly after lacklustre defeats at 205lbs, with the former outstruck by Lyoto Machida while the latter never got going against Nogueira.

Both men have designs on the light-heavyweight title, but Evans in particular looks a long way from it right now - having already lost to reigning champion Jon Jones. Henderson, meanwhile, missed his chance to book a title shot when losing to Machida.

Nogueira is the form fighter of the quartet, adding victory over Evans to an earlier win against Tito Ortiz, and he will mix his brand of boxing and BJJ against legendary striker Shogun Rua.

Shogun lost to Alexander Gustafsson in his last outing, but he has beaten Nogueira in the past, taking Fight of the Year honours back in 2005.
